Is Rihanna giving Chris Brown a second chance—or did she just share a fleeting romantic moment with her ex?

Just one week after the 23-year-old "Run It!" singer appeared to cozy up with Nicole Scherzinger, Brown and his ex got hot and heavy with his former girlfriend while partying with her at NYC hotspot Griffin.

Here's what went down during the one-time couple's late night rendezvous.

Brown, joined by pal Bow Wow, arrived at the club first and settled into his own table, E! News confirms. Rihanna arrived later, and sat at a separate table from her ex.yMalin Akerman est enceinte

"She knew he was there," a source tells us.

At one point during the night, Brown climbed over his table to join Rihanna at hers. She then proceeded to take off his shirt before they began dancing and making out, according to an eyewitness at the club.

Following their PDA dance session, Brown left the club just before 4 a.m., with Rihanna hitting the road about five minutes later.

Reps for Brown, 23, and Rihanna, 24, did not immediately comment.

Brown is still on probation for his infamous beatdown of Rihanna in 2009. They have remained close, however,exchanging birthday tweets in recent months and evensharing a friendly peck during last month's MTV Video Music Awards.

While Brown's model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, was noticeably absent, other celebs that were also at the club last night, not with Brown and Rihanna, included Dave Chappelle,Tyson Beckford and Chris Rock.

Friends are wondering if things are cooling off between Kim Kardashian and her new beau, Kanye West, who appeared in her life just in time to take the attention away from her disastrous marriage and divorce with Kris Humphries.

While Kim is in Miami to film her family reality show, Kanye has been living it up at Paris fashion week, even though he isn’t showing his clothing line there. On Sunday he was at a party hosted by Diane von Furstenberg and Olivier Zahm to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Purple magazine.

Another source tells us that things between Kanye and Kim are “cooling off” because “he’s getting tired of the constant press and promotion. He’s not as tight with her as he was.”

HAS PARIS JACKSON GONE ALL 'MILEY CYRUS'?

Looks as if Miley Cyrus has really started something with that extreme, bleached-blond short haircutshe debuted back in August. Everyone wants to try out "the Miley"--even, it seems, Michael Jackson's only daughter Paris.

The 14-year-old hinted that she was considering the idea of cutting her mane for a good cause, when she tweeted on Friday, "That awkward moment when everyone is saying no to doing the right thing...if i want to cut my hair and donate it i'd appreciate SOME support."

She followed up this statement with a photo of herself sporting what appeared to be an approximation of Cyrus's 'do. Okay, it's hard to make someone as stunning as Jackson look bad, but...let's just say the new look was a bit shocking.

However, not to panic. It has been confirmed that Jackson was merely playing a little joke. The new hairstyle was just a test run with a short wig. Although Jackson did tweet her support of Cyrus's haircut back when Cyrus initially cropped it--"I don't know why people keep hating miley's new cut...I love it!"--we'd still be surprised if she actually took the plunge and chopped her own long, brunette locks.

Jackson isn't the first celeb to pull one over on her audience in this manner. Tennis pro Maria Sharapova "debuted" a super-short cut on her Facebook account earlier this year to much fanfare, only to reveal a day later that it was a wig.

J. LO BRINGS DAUGHTER TO PARIS FASHION WEEK

Jennifer Lopez's daughter, Emme, is a fashionista in training.

The 4-year-old girl accompanied her mother to the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. The ladies arrived hand-in-hand — walking a few steps in front of Lopez's boyfriend, Casper Smart — at the Grand Palais for the big event. Lopez, 43, had on a plunging lace dress and black pointed-toe shoes. Emme wore a pink dress and shoes with a white cardigan and butterfly purse.

During the show, Lopez and Emme were in the coveted front row. The preschooler sat on her mother's lap for the presentation, getting lots of kisses throughout the show. At one point Emme gave Smart a hug.

5 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT iPHONE 5

With all the media attention lavished on Apple since its iPhone 5 launch, you probably think you know all there is to know about the company's latest smartphone.

Faster, lighter, thinner and prettier are the obvious ones, thanks to support for LTE wireless networks and a faster A6 processor, a redesigned body with lighter materials and a taller 4-inch screen. There's also the new cameras and iOS 6, Apple's latest mobile platform.

But there's more to iPhone 5 — good or bad — you might not be aware of:

Faster Wi-Fi, too: For the first time, iPhone now supports dual-band 802.11n wireless connectivity by adding a 5GHz antenna to the device (also found in the new iPod touch). Perhaps it's time to upgrade your older 2.4GHz wireless router to a faster model to take advantage of the additional wireless speeds — but be aware it doesn't cover as great a distance as 2.4GHz. 5GHz also means less interference with other Wi-Fi device, resulting in better performance in that regard, too.

Lightning isn't faster: Despite the clever name Apple gave its much-maligned new 8-pin connector at the base of the phone — replacing the wide-mouth 30-pin connector used for years, and making your accessories obsolete without an adaptor — "Lightning" doesn't transfer your data any faster than the older cable. Therefore, if you shot a bunch of HD video on iPhone 5 and want to transfer to your PC or Mac, it'll still be at USB 2.0 speeds (480 Mbps), which is 10 times slower than USB 3.0 (5Gbps).

iPhone 5 is hot (literally): Similar to issues with the new (third-generation) iPad, iPhone 5 gets very warm to the touch on the back of the unit after playing around with it for a while — especially with memory-intensive tasks such as gaming or video playback. It's not going to burn your hand or anything, but the new aluminum back, replacing a thick layer of glass, means you're going to experience major warmth, so don't be alarmed. If it bothers you, consider a case — ideal to protect your investment anyway as many reports are surfacing about how easy the back can be scratched.

Google Maps coming?: The verdict is out on Apple's new Maps app and it's mixed, to say the least. While users like the voice-based turn-by-turn navigation and 3D cityscapes you can flyover, many claim its accuracy is less than stellar. If you'd like Google Maps back, you may be in luck. According to a report from The Verge, Apple still had one year left on its contract with Google to keep Google Maps on iOS. Considering there's now a YouTube app to download for iPhone, perhaps a Google Maps app isn't too far behind. Choice is good, no?

Better audio: You likely know Apple has bundled its new EarPods in the box, delivering a more comfortable fit, added durability and most importantly, better-sounding audio over the classic white earbuds. But the phone has better audio tech all around, including three microphones -- one on the front, one on the back and one on the bottom — working together for clearer audio and noise-canceling technology. Carriers must support this "beam-forming" directional microphone system, however, and both people talking need to have an iPhone 5 to hear the difference, says Apple.
